Bible Study – There’s Still Time to Join Us!
A new bible study began on Monday, January 25th at 7:00, but there are six more sessions. We are, truly, just getting started, so you can still catch up! We are following the Little Rock Study, “A Window into the Spirituality of Paul.” As such, we’ll delve into what Paul thought was important to know about the Father, Jesus, and the Spirit, AND what that meant for the early Christian communities, and us! There is a $20 suggested donation to cover material fees. Let me know if you need any further information. Peggy Casing or 248-243-0251

Symbolon
Join us on February 17 at 7 PM, when we will discuss: “A Catholic Moral Vision– Virtue, Grace, and the Path to Happiness.” We’ll be using a DVD that features “experts” in the faith explaining the teachings of the Church in a thorough and straightforward manner, and we’ll be delving into deeper understanding of that these sacraments mean for all of us! Remember, you can join us for one, or all of these sessions.

A New Lenten Offering!
I strongly encourage you to attend, “Praying the Sunday Scriptures During Lent,” on Thursdays, beginning Feb. 18, 2016, continuing until March 17, from 1:00 – 2:15 pm (5 sessions). This program invites the participants to come aside to read, pray, share and be awakened to the Word of God used for the following Sunday at Mass. We will listen to Christ’s message to us in our lives, and use different forms of meditation and prayer. Open to all. Come and share with us as a prayer/scripture experience during Lent, facilitated by a lovely woman of deep faith, Julie Lacki. Please let me know if you plan to attend: Peggy Casing or 248-243-0251

Census Update
Our Stewardship Commission will be conducting a parish-wide Census in the spring of 2016. This Census will update our parish records, collect current email addresses and contact information, and improve our Stewardship and Evangelization efforts. Our hope is to better serve all of our parishioners’ faith needs; plan programs and parish events more efficiently; and grow our volunteer base by matching the skills, interests and talents of our parishioners to specific needs of St Mary of the Hills parish. The Census process begins right now the collection of basic name, address, phone, and email information.  Census Information Form
