Volunteers Needed: Deliver Blankets for Pope Francis Center

We are in need of 7 drivers with vans or trucks to transport about 300 donated Covers/Blankets to benefit Pope Francis Center and its ministry with the homeless. The blankets come to us from RHEMA International Ministries located in Rochester. The drive to downtown Detroit is approximately 50 minutes on a good day without the weather, traffic, construction. Arrive at St. Mary's Gym on Wednesday, March 16 at 10:30 AM.
Park in the rear by the playground and enter through the Gym Entrance.  The blankets are currently in the Gym mostly in bags and some inboxes.

Deliver blankets to Huntington Place at 1 Washington Blvd. Detroit 48226 on Wednesday March 16. The entrance to use is the one on Congress near Cass. It is one-way so use your hazards. Look for a door off the street with a walkway. There isn't much traffic. Call 313-859-2690 when you arrive. This phone is a direct number to the center. The Staff will direct you.
