Ecological Spirituality Retreat II - A Spirituality of Resistance Part of Dominican Center’s “Spirituality in the Hood” Offerings Saturday, September 7th – 10:00 am thru 3:00 pm St. Suzanne Cody Rouge Community Resource Center 19321 W. Chicago, Detroit, MI 48228
“Ecological Spirituality springs from a profound ecological conversion and helps us to “discover God in all things,” both in the beauty of creation and in the sighs of the sick and the groans of the afflicted, aware that the life of the spirit is not dissociated from worldly realities.” (Laudato si’ Action Platform)
This retreat is presented by the Dominican Center Spirituality for Mission and will utilize a rhythm of prayer time, presentations, and reflection moments. By the end of our day, we will propose some action steps in resistance to our consumer society and for the care of “our common home.”
