Mourning the loss of a loved one is a difficult journey. Join the small group at St. Irenaeus for support, prayer, and insight gleaned from "Grieving, A Spiritual Process for Catholics." We will provide you with your own copy of the workbook to take home at our first meeting.

October 1 began Respect Life Month, a time when the Church reflects on the value of each human life and importance of protecting all life from conception to natural death.

Our Catholic community seeks to provide a welcoming, caring and safe gathering for those family members who care for a loved one who has mental, physical, or emotional challenges, and for whom faith is a key component.

This retreat is presented by the Dominican Center Spirituality for Mission and will utilize a rhythm of prayer time, presentations, and reflection moments. By the end of our day, we will propose some action steps in resistance to our consumer society and for the care of “our common home.”

La Casa Amiga is looking for volunteers to help with the distribution of emergency food boxes throughout Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb County. They need volunteers to help collect information, direct traffic, and place boxes and groceries into trunks.
